How to win lane as Pantheon against Sejuani · 52.33% win rate over 537 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Pantheon | At level 1 your point-and-click W stun damage beats her — Sejuani has no early kill pressure and her Frost Armor is not yet stacked. |
| Level 2 | Pantheon | Your level-2 W+Q all-in bursts her before she can answer; her E needs Permafrost marks she does not have yet. |
| Level 3 | Pantheon | With all three basics you out-trade her empty-handed early — empowered Q plus W stun out-damages a tank with no sustain. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Kills dry up as she farms toward tank stats; you poke with empowered Q but cannot finish her, so the lane stalls even. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Grand Starfall is built for roams, not solo-killing a tank — your map pressure stays even while her lane scaling catches up. |
| First item | Even / skill | You are still ahead on tempo but your first item cannot kill an armored Sejuani — press the side lanes instead of forcing the duel. |
| Two+ items | Sejuani | She out-scales decisively: her percent-HP W, Permafrost stun and R chain-CC overpower your plateaued burst and squishy frame. |
Sejuani is one of the easiest early lanes to bully — she has no sustain and her Frost Armor passive only matters once she takes damage and stacks. Use empowered Q poke and your point-and-click W stun to win short trades at every level; at 2 you can W-in, Q, and walk away up health. Dodge her Arctic Assault (W dash) range so she cannot stick to you, and never let her freely stack Permafrost — once she has 3 marks her E stuns you. Your E block eats her R if she tries to engage.
