Yorick and I are both slow, passive level-1 laners, so nobody owns the opening — I soak Q farm and start stacking while he places his W grave wall and harvests ghouls for his E mist. The trap to avoid is his E (Mourning Mist): it slows you hard and primes you so his ghouls and Maiden swarm in, so don't stand in the wave eating it for free while I last-hit. At 3 I get Wither, and if he Es in to commit ghouls I can W his attack speed to zero and Spirit Fire the ghoul pile to clear it — but I still lose any extended trade, so I take the farm and refuse the fight.
