How to win lane as Nasus against Teemo · 51.1% win rate over 773 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Teemo | His blind (Q) cancels my Siphoning Strike autoattack and his move speed denies my stacks — at level 1 I have no ult and no Wither, so I just soak Q farm and concede. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Even — I can stack a little with Spirit Fire and my Soul Eater lifesteal out-sustains his single-target poke, but he still kites my autos with the blind. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Even — I get Wither at 3 to punish one overstep or peel a gank, but I still lose extended trades to his poke and can't reliably close the gap. |
| Levels 4-5 | Teemo | Enemy-favoured — he pokes me with E poison and kites on move speed while I'm shoving and hoarding stacks, and my blinded Q does nothing in a trade. |
| Level 6 | Nasus | My first real swing: Fury of the Sands plus Wither lets me ult in, gut his move speed, and run down an escape-less Teemo before his blind resets. |
| First item | Nasus | Sheen/Iceborn empowers my Q and with Wither slowing him a reached Teemo eats a one-Q chunk every time I get on top of him. |
| Two+ items | Even / skill | Even late — I win every duel I actually reach, but his shrooms zone my splitpush and his poke chips me before I close, so it comes down to vision and map play. |
Teemo's blind (Q) is the whole problem early — it lands on my Siphoning Strike autoattack and turns my one big hit into a whiff, so don't throw a Q he can just blind off. The bigger issue is stacks: his move-speed kite and E poison let him deny my CS and last-hits, and a Nasus who can't stack Q is a Nasus doing nothing. Farm with Spirit Fire (E) from range to grab stacks and chip his armor when he pokes me, soak the poison, and lean on my Soul Eater lifesteal to heal it back — his poke can't out-damage my sustain at this stage.
