Levels 1-2 are mine: my auto range plus the Lightslinger double-tap means every time Garen steps up to last-hit, I Q-cast and land two shots before his Decisive Strike (Q) can close the gap and silence me. Hold your ground at max range and punish — at level 1 he has only the silence-strike and no Courage to cut my damage yet. The one thing to dodge is the silence: don't be mid-ability-cast when he dashes in, because that Q cancels my cast and an empowered Decisive Strike auto hurts. Keep weaving W marks and chipping.
