How to win lane as K'Sante against Kled · 47.45% win rate (451 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Tank his pull with W — Q3-pull, out-trade him.
Track: Kled's Q — Bear Trap on a Rope (11–7s cooldown). His engage hook. W-tank/dodge it.
Read from K'Sante's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Kled.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | You're a weak level-1 with only Q and no engage, but so is a Kled who hasn't snapped into his mounted aggro yet — farm safely and set up the lane. |
| Level 2 | Kled | Mounted Kled spikes at 2 with Beartrap (Q) grabs and Violent Tendencies attack speed, out-bullying you before your Q-W combo is fully online to answer. |
| Level 3 | Kled | His full mounted kit out-trades you in melee and restoring Skaarl's courage undoes your chip — concede the wave, farm at Ntofo's 450. |
| Levels 4-5 | Kled | A mounted Kled keeps the trade edge through 4-5 and his remount damage spike beats your tank stats if you step up, so you bank farm and wait. |
| Level 6 | Kled | Kled's level-6 Chaaaaaarge! (R) and overall early pressure still edge the lane, but your All Out (R) wall-stun all-in is the one window you can flip — bait his dismount first. |
| First item | Kled | His first bruiser item plus the mounted Bear Trap pull and a remount out-grind your Iceborn Gauntlet durability in any extended sidelane skirmish. |
| Two+ items | K'Sante | From two items you peel him in teamfights — W's charge-up damage reduction eats his R engage and All Out yanks him off your carry, which his lead can't answer. |
Kled owns the early because I'm weak at level 1 with only Q and no engage, so I just farm and concede the wave while he sits mounted on Skaarl. From level 2-3 his Beartrap-on-a-Rope (Q) grab plus Violent Tendencies attack speed lets him bully me before my Q-W combo is fully online to punish. I do not walk into his Q pull range to contest a CS — I last-hit at the tip of Ntofo Strikes (Q) and accept the chip. The thing to bait is his dismounted Q: if he whiffs the grab, Skaarl is gone and I can step up, but until then I farm and survive.
