Weather the poke — wall-stun him on the Heroic Swing cooldown and All Out the 1v1.
Track: Akshan's E — Heroic Swing (18–12s cooldown). His dash + camera swing escape. Engage when it's down.

This is K'Sante's own plan; across 613 pooled games the lane is leaning Akshan.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Akshan | Akshan has no engage at level 1 and you concede nothing — farm safely with Ntofo Strikes (Q) while his lone Q Avengerang can't punish a tank yet. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | He picks up his E swing-shot and Q poke and starts chipping your low-econ body from outside your short Q range, so the level-2 window is his. |
| Level 3 | K'Sante | His full kite kit is online — E swing mobility plus Q/W poke lets him skirmish your cooldown-reliant pattern and dodge your short Path Maker (W) charge. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | It's even — you can bank a W terrain stun into Q3's knock-up-and-pull if he oversteps, but his E swing resets the gap if he plays it clean. |
| Level 6 | Akshan | All Out converts you to a duelist with bonus range and dashes you through his poke — a squishy Akshan has no burst to punish a tank and you out-DPS him here. |
| First item | K'Sante | Iceborn Gauntlet plus your W stun pins him off his E swing, and your sustained tank DPS through Dauntless Instinct marks out-trades his skirmisher poke. |
| Two+ items | K'Sante | Late, Avengerang and his Dirty Fighting shield do nothing to your HP pool while your W stun denies the grapple — force side-lane fights and R him out of position. |
Level 1 is mine to take — Akshan has no engage and I farm safely, but the instant I have my Ntofo Strikes Q stacks and a point in Path Maker W at level 2-3, his Q Avengerang and E swing-shot poke start chipping my low-econ tank body from outside my short range. Don't chase his swing with a raw Q he'll just kite; hold the wave and bait him into Q-range to last-hit. The trick is my W: charge it when he steps up and the unstoppable dash slams him into terrain for a stun he can't grapple out of, then Q3 knock-up-and-pulls him for a real trade.
