Read from Heimerdinger's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Aurora.
This is Heimerdinger's own plan; across 138 pooled games the lane is Aurora-favoured.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Heimerdinger | One turret and autos are enough at level 1: Twofold Hex is 9s at 900 range and she has no Across the Veil yet, so I hold the wave and Hextech Affinity speed keeps me safe. |
| Level 2 | Heimerdinger | My second H-28G plus its pass-through beams walls off CS, so her Q poke now has to walk into beam range to land — this is where the nest starts taxing her health bar. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | It's a read: my banked turret charges threaten any W-blink in, but she can hold Q at 900 range, so it's even until someone commits a cooldown. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | My CH-2 direct-hit stun makes any commit suicidal, but Across the Veil is 22s of invisible escape — whoever lands their cooldown wins. |
| Level 6 | Aurora | Her spike: Between Worlds plus first AP item lets her dodge the grenade with Across the Veil and dive a low-HP yordle with no dash. |
| First item | Even / skill | My first siege spike trades with her first AP item — I hold the grenade for her engage and the beams still punish a missed blink, keeping it even. |
| Two+ items | Heimerdinger | In a defensive siege my super-turret nest and UPGRADE!!! wide-stun grenade out-value her single-target Q poke when she's forced to push onto my tower. |
Level 1 I have one turret and no stun, but Twofold Hex is 9s at 900 range and she has no blink yet — drop a turret on the wave and let Hextech Affinity's speed keep me safe hugging it. By 2-3 a second H-28G plus the pass-through beams fences off CS, so her Q poke has to walk into beam range to ever land. The whole early game is keeping my body behind the nest: if she blinks in with Across the Veil, the beams punish her, but I have no answer if she sits at 900 and chips me down.
