His E (Mourning Mist) slows and MARKS you so every ghoul and his autos home in for a chunk, and his Q heal gives him trade weight before your Q-W combo even exists. Note his E is the homing missile and his W (Dark Procession) is the cage wall — don't confuse them. Don't walk up to last-hit into the mark; soak the wave with Vorpal Spikes (E) cone clear at range and lean on Carnivore's kill-sustain to stay topped up. Sidestep the Mourning Mist when you can, and once his ghouls are spent you get a window — but until then concede the push and farm.
