How to win lane as Aurora against Quinn · 53.03% win rate over 66 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | Quinn's Harrier-empowered autos and Blinding Assault (Q) poke own level 1 — you have only Twofold Hex and no W escape, so concede it and just farm. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Skill window — your Q-curse and recast come online and you can start poking, but her Harrier kite still trades evenly until your E slow and spirits land. |
| Level 3 | Aurora | With Q-recast, E slow and Spirit Abjuration sustain you out-heal her Harrier chip and win the poke war against a Quinn who can't punish your spacing. |
| Levels 4-5 | Aurora | Your poke, passive spirit healing and W cooldown all line up — you control trades and zoning before ultimates while she can't answer your spacing. |
| Level 6 | Aurora | Between Worlds makes you untargetable to outside enemies and lets you walk through walls past her Vault, and W-reset-on-takedown turns the rift all-in into a snowball. |
| First item | Aurora | Your Luden's/Malignance burst spike lets one Q-recast combo plus W delete a squishy Quinn before she Vault-kites out — force the all-in here. |
| Two+ items | Even / skill | Skill — she reclaims tempo as a roaming splitpush threat and a fed Harrier burst clips you when W is down, so close before two items matter. |
Level 1 is hers — she's a ranged carry with Harrier nimble move speed and you only have Twofold Hex (Q) and no W leap yet, so don't try to trade, just last-hit and accept the Blinding Assault poke. The lane flips fast though: once you have Q-curse plus your E slow at level 3, recast your Q so the curse-pull drags the missile back through her even after she Harrier-kites the first hit, and let your Spirit Abjuration spirits heal the chip back. Respect her Vault (E) — if you facecheck or over-extend she'll knock you back and blind you, so poke on your terms and don't burn W chasing a kite.
