How to win lane as Soraka against Nautilus · 51.22% win rate (11,114 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Every heal you channel is hook bait — bank behind cover and silence the catch's follow-up.
Track: Nautilus's Q — Dredge Line (14–10s cooldown). His only real engage — dodge it and the lane is free.
Read from Soraka's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Nautilus.
This is Soraka's own plan; across 11,114 pooled games the lane is leaning Soraka.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | Level 1 is even; his hook is his only tool and a missed Q leaves him defenceless. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Level 2 stays neutral because his all-in needs a landed hook you can body-block. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Level 3 is a wash as your Starcall sustain matches his shield-poke trades. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Through 4-5 a blocked Dredge Line keeps him off your carry, holding the lane even. |
| Level 6 | Nautilus | At 6 Depth Charge is an unmissable knock-up that chains CC your heal can't stop, so he leads. |
| First item | Nautilus | On first item his tank stats let him hook-engage freely and pick your ADC through your heals. |
| Two+ items | Nautilus | With 2+ items his full CC chain locks your backline longer than you can channel sustain. |
Levels 1-4 are even: Nautilus needs to land Dredge Line to commit, and if you body-block the hook with minions his shield-poke trade stays neutral against your Starcall sustain. His hook plus the chain out-ranges anything you can answer, so hold position and let your carry farm. Land the star only when it costs you nothing, keep the silence for the moment the chain lands, and never heal from ground the hook can reach.
