How to win lane as Mel against LeBlanc · 47.61% win rate (2,865 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Her dive isn't a projectile — the reflect bluff still buys space, but the snare is your real answer; bank it.
Track: LeBlanc's W — Distortion (15–10s cooldown). Dash with a four-second return window — punish the return spot, and remember she is broke after it.
Read from Mel's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against LeBlanc.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | Level 1 is skill: Radiant Volley out-ranges Sigil of Malice 950 to 700, but a volley that misses is a free Q-auto trade for her — poke only on her last-hits. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Level 2 is skill: Rebuttal reflects the Sigil if you hold it, but she baits it with a bare Q and Distortion double-procs the real trade — save the reflect for the dash-in. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Level 3 is skill: Solar Snare from 1000 roots her on the Distortion landing, but Ethereal Chains from 925 holds you for the full string first if you walk in straight — sidestep, then snare. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Levels 4-5 are skill: Radiant Volley on 10 seconds chunks her between Q-W windows, but Rebuttal is 38 seconds at rank 1, so most of her trades find you without it. |
| Level 6 | LeBlanc | At 6 Mimic flips it: her R-empowered Q-W burst can one-shot you before Rebuttal matters. |
| First item | LeBlanc | On first item her full combo and lethal roams keep her ahead through her power spike. |
| Two+ items | Even / skill | At two items you recover as her one-shots fall off and Golden Eclipse executes her dive. |
Levels 1-2 are a skill check: Radiant Volley out-ranges Sigil of Malice 950 to 700, but every volley that misses is a free Q-auto trade for her, so poke on her last-hits only, and hold Rebuttal for the Distortion dash-in rather than the bare Q she baits it with. Don't shove blindly, since her W mobility makes her a roam threat, but chip her health on every step-up. A healthy poke lead now blunts the burst spike she's building toward.
