How to win the jungle race as Zyra against Warwick · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Zyra's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Warwick.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Danger — Avoid Warwick | Hard no-contest for Zyra at level 1: Eternal Hunger sustain means they win any fight where both sides arrive off full camps, and Q sustain and Blood Hunt frenzy out-heal your damage the moment you drop below half. Never fight him while low — his W tracks your blood trail; disengage above 50%. Path opposite, ward your entrances, and let the clock carry you to your own spike. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Danger — Avoid Warwick | Q sustain and Blood Hunt frenzy out-heal your damage the moment you drop below half. Blood Hunt (W) attack speed plus Q healing out-sustains every trade pattern on top of that, so level 2 is a straight stat check Zyra loses — never fight him while low — his W tracks your blood trail; disengage above 50%, and give the river vision-line respect. |
| Level 3 Route | Danger — Avoid Warwick | Warwick out-classes you at the opening scuttle — Eternal Hunger sustain means they win any fight where both sides arrive off full camps, and Q sustain and Blood Hunt frenzy out-heal your damage the moment you drop below half. Give up the level-3 river fight, full-clear away from them, and trade map pressure instead of health. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Danger — Avoid Warwick | Do not be seen by Warwick at levels 4-5 — you lose every exchange. Full-clear away from them, ward your entrances, and trade map pressure, not HP. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Respect Warwick's R | Infinite Duress suppresses you through the fight while his sustain out-lasts your burst — Zyra loses the straight post-6 duel. Hold a dash or hard CC for the R leap — it is interruptible mid-flight, and shift your pressure to the side of the map Infinite Duress is not on. |
| First Item Spike | Liandry's Spike | Liandry's converts garden ticks into percent-health melt and your zone control into kill pressure. One rotation plus plants now solos the Dragon pit at speed. Force Warwick to contest your pre-seeded objectives — entering your garden becomes the losing move. Warwick's first item is where the healing stops being sustain and starts being more than your damage can out-pace. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Zyra Favoured at Full Build | Full-build math leans your way: extended fights and side-lane duels favor you over Warwick — make late fights about 1v1s, not coin-flips. |
Start at the buff beside raptors and pre-seed the camp during the leash walk. Track Warwick's start side and garden your second buff's entrance — invaders meet plants before they meet you. Warwick clears fast and heals through everything off Eternal Hunger, so he is at full health at every crossing.
