How to win the jungle race as Kha'Zix against Morgana · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Kha'Zix's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Morgana.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Kha'Zix Dominant | Isolation-bonus Taste Their Fear chunks anyone who face-checks alone, while the W camp-melt is elite tempo. Only one of those wins at the first buff, so press it: take the level-1 crossing, then leave with a camp and a chunk of their health bar. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Kha'Zix Dominant | Void Spike's heal-poke wins the slow trade war at river entrances. Dark Binding is gank bait, not duel material, and with one camp still up on both sides that is not an answer. Take the level-2 skirmish and make Morgana path away from the camps you want. |
| Level 3 Route | Kha'Zix Dominant | Iso Q damage at level 3 already deletes squishier junglers caught solo. There is no version of this Morgana wins right now — Black Shield protects a teammate's gank, and that folds at the opening scuttle. Show on their side of the river and take the first scuttle and the gank window behind it. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Kha'Zix Dominant — Keep Fighting | Nothing about 4-5 helps Morgana here: her 4-5 is a Dark Binding gank window beside her laners, with Black Shield making the counter-gank fail, while you can take any duel you can reach. Invade on the clear-timer, not on a whim. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Evolution Favoured | Your first evolution means isolated targets simply die — hunt the side brushes. The Shackles' delayed second stun wins any fight you let run long near her — respect that one window, but the six-spike comparison favors you: take the post-6 duel whenever HP bars start even. |
| First Item Spike | Umbral Glaive / Eclipse Spike | Umbral Glaive clears the wards that would spot your approach and Eclipse adds a two-hit burst plus a shield, so an Isolated Taste Their Fear (Q) into Leap (E) now deletes squishy targets outright. Camps fall fast enough to clear a full side and still arrive at a lane. Use the spike to hunt lone targets in river and side lanes rather than joining even teamfights. Morgana's first item makes the binding-into-zone rotation a real chunk instead of a set-up for somebody else. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Kha'Zix Favoured — Wins Late | The late game is yours. Remember what Morgana still is at full build — the utility wins her fights, not the damage — Black Shield plus a binding is the whole threat — and take the fights that do not let it matter. |
Start your clear at the Blue Buff node to optimize early ability haste cycling across single-target nodes before executing a clean full clear path down into the scuttle crab. Morgana clears very fast with Tormented Shadow and stays healthy off her passive, so her early tempo is better than it looks.
