Read from Vladimir's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Riven.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | Level 1 is even before Riven's Q chain comes online. |
| Level 2 | Riven | Riven's full combo plus W stun wins level 2. |
| Level 3 | Riven | Her mobility and shield keep Riven ahead at level 3. |
| Levels 4-5 | Riven | Riven still bursts you inside Transfusion at 4-5. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Blade of the Exile plus Wind Slash beats your six. |
| First item | Riven | Her R execute spike keeps Riven favoured at first item. |
| Two+ items | Vladimir | Your 2+ item AP scaling and pool disengage flip it to Vladimir. |
Level 1 is even before Riven has her Q chain, so trade a Transfusion and back off. This is one of Vladimir's worst lanes at 47% — her Broken Wings mobility and Ki Burst (W) stun mean any step forward gets punished, so play for CS and never contest the wave up.
