Akshan wants to establish Heroic Swing anchor points on jungle-side terrain and kite your Tongue Lash, but at level 1 he has none of that mobility yet — walk up, slow him off each CS with Q, and let An Acquired Taste stacks build naturally. He cannot trade into you at 3 stacks without eating the stun. At level 2-3 your trade pattern is simple: Q to slow, walk through him to auto stack, then the third-stack Q stuns him in place and you follow with Devour — he is gone from the fight and takes bonus damage inside.
