How to win lane as Sett against Wukong · 50.02% win rate (3,151 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Don’t E the clone — all-in the real body when his E is down.
Track: Wukong's E — Nimbus Strike (10–7s cooldown). His escape. Punish the cooldown.
Read from Sett's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Wukong.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Sett | Sett: At level 1 Sett's grit trades and Facebreaker threat beat Wukong before his W decoy tempo comes online. |
| Level 2 | Wukong | Wukong: At 2 his W clone lets Wukong win a short trade and vanish before Sett's grit shield builds a counter. |
| Level 3 | Sett | Sett: By 3 a landed E-pull stops the clone escape and Haymaker punishes Wukong's armor-shred trade window. |
| Levels 4-5 | Wukong | Wukong: At 4 his burst-and-vanish combo out-tempos Sett's grit build, letting Wukong dodge the committed swing. |
| Level 6 | Sett | Sett: First-item grit shield and true damage let Sett out-value Wukong's burst once he can no longer one-combo. |
| First item | Sett | Sett: Sett's sustained brawl beats Wukong's hit-and-run kit in extended fights, and banked grit answers the R spin. |
| Two+ items | Sett | Sett: Late, The Show Stopper cleanly counters Wukong's R engage and grit-fueled sustain wins the grouped skirmish. |
Skittish and clone-dependent. Wukong's W decoy lets him win short trades and dodge your commitment -- at 2 and 4 his burst-and-vanish out-tempos your grit build. Don't chase clones; farm, soak grit, and only swing when you've caught the real one.

Nobody on paper — a 50.02% win rate over 3,151 games makes this a coin flip decided by play, not champion select.
Yes — Sett vs Wukong is a genuine skill matchup: 50.02% win rate, and the favour swings window to window rather than being set at champion select.
No hard counter either way — the Sett vs Wukong win rate is 50.02%, an even lane decided by execution.
Sett takes Conqueror on the Precision tree with Triumph, Legend: Alacrity and Last Stand, and Resolve secondary (Bone Plating and Unflinching) vs Wukong.
Start Doran's Blade + Health Potion and back for Executioner's Calling (≈800g) — his healing out-paces your grit trades. Build Stridebreaker (stick to them through the W panel window) first, then Sterak's Gage, with Plated Steelcaps.
