Tahm Kench's grey-health passive is the whole problem early — your Q chip and Electrical Surge on-hit just turn into grey HP that he heals back, so you almost never reach a third Mark of the Storm stack to stun him. At levels 2-3 you can land a fast double-mark off Q plus W and force him off the wave, but do NOT step into Q-tongue range to do it: his Q is a long stun that interrupts your mark setup, and if it lands he flips into W-devour and bursts your squishy body. Poke from the very edge of Q range, respect the tongue, and accept this is a farm-and-chip lane, not a kill lane.
