Illaoi is glued to the wave early — her tentacles only spawn on cooldown and she has no dash, so levels 1-3 are your cleanest poke window. Throw Thundering Shuriken (Q) and weave Electrical Surge (W) on-hit autos to chip her low base health while she's busy slamming minions; her sustain only goes nuclear once tentacles are up around you. The one rule: never stand inside a cluster of grasping tentacles when you commit autos, and respect that her E (Test of Spirit) is a long skillshot — sidestep it and she has almost no kill pressure on you.
