Darius's whole early game is the E-pull — Apprehend yanks you into Hemorrhage bleed and his outer-blade Q, and your squishy body cannot survive that exchange, so never last-hit inside E range. He has no way to close the gap if you respect the pull, and by level 3 your two-point Q plus W on-hit out-damages anything he can do back.
