Poppy has no dash and no way to close the gap before her E charge, so open with RQ Soulflare and keep stacking Q poke — every ability and basic attack that hits her refunds your Mantra via Gathering Fire for the next rotation. The one thing to respect is her E (Heroic Charge): she shoulder-rushes you, and if your back is to a wall it pins you for a stun, so fight in open lane and never hug the side wall. Her W (Steadfast Presence) damage reduction can soften one Q and will block a dash, but it does nothing to stop you out-ranging her last-hits from max Q distance.
