How to win lane as Gwen against Singed · 40.42% win rate (720 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
His poison kites your snip and the fling baits your W. Don't chase — farm and match his split push.
Track: Singed's E — Fling (10–8s cooldown). His flip. Mist it, then Snip.
Read from Gwen's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Singed.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Singed | Singed proxies your wave and runs you down on passive move speed — you have no W mist or E dash yet to answer his Fling-into-poison. |
| Level 2 | Singed | He keeps full poison-trail uptime while you're still a clunky cone Q with no untargetability — he kites you every step and Flings before your snips chain. |
| Level 3 | Singed | Even once you have Q plus E, he Flings you into the trail and walks off, and his drain-tank passive heals back the chip Snip Snip! lands. |
| Levels 4-5 | Singed | You're a melee eating poison ticks, and his sustain out-heals any %-HP damage your kit deals before you can stack it. |
| Level 6 | Gwen | At 6, Needlework's slow plus Skip 'n Slash's attack speed finally lets you stick and grind his huge HP bar with %-max-HP and true damage — your one window. |
| First item | Singed | His Rylai's slow leash and Liandry's burn out-pace your single-item duel — your E can't close the gap and your stationary mist can't chase. |
| Two+ items | Singed | Move speed plus drain-tank sustain beat your %-HP grind in any extended chase — an uncatchable drain-tank is exactly what your kit can't crack. |
Singed is the worst kind of 'tank' for me — I want to grind a big HP bar with Snip Snip!, but he never stands still to let me. He proxies my wave behind tower and walks at me on passive move speed, Flings me into his poison trail, and is gone before my cone Q snips even connect. I have no W mist for safety and no E dash to chase until levels 2-3, so early I just lose CS and eat poison ticks. Don't follow him into his trail — that kite is exactly what he wants. Hold the tip of Q for last-hits, drop mist on myself if he Flings me, and accept I'm behind through the first few levels.
