Pre-6 is your half of the lane. Akali has only her Q shuriken and Twilight Shroud is on a long early cooldown, so she has to stand and eat your shells if she wants to farm — and your 4-shell point-blank spread plus a Q cone out-damage her poke when she steps up. Use E to weave in for the full two-shell burst, then dash back out before you have to reload. The one thing to respect is her shroud: if she drops it she goes untargetable, so don't dump your magazine into the cloud where you have no target. Instead drop Smoke Screen on the shroud to cut her vision and deny the zone, and wait for her W cooldown to commit.
