Read from Darius's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Sylas.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Darius | Sylas is a squishy, low-range mage at level 1 who can't contest your Hemorrhage poke. |
| Level 2 | Darius | At two he still lacks the mobility and sustain to break your bleed trades. |
| Level 3 | Darius | Level 3 E Apprehend punishes his E cooldown and lands a full combo on a fragile target. |
| Levels 4-5 | Darius | Through 4-5 stacked Hemorrhage overwhelms his W heal in every exchange. |
| Level 6 | Darius | At 6 your full-stack R executes him before his stolen ult matters. |
| First item | Even / skill | First item Stridebreaker glues you through his double-dash so he can't disengage. |
| Two+ items | Sylas | By two-plus items Sylas's AP scaling, W sustain, and mobility out-DPS and out-kite your bleed, taking the lane. |
Sylas pokes with Chain Lash, which explodes again at the intersection — step off that point, then walk him down and bleed him with Q Decimate.

Start Doran's Blade + Health Potion and back for Executioner's Calling (≈800g) — protects your execute math. Build Stridebreaker (the stickiness fix — run-downs become lethal) first, then Sterak's Gage (Maw of Malmortius if his burst is magic), with Mercury's Treads.
