How to win the jungle race as Diana against Kha'Zix · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Diana's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Kha'Zix.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Respect Kha'Zix | The isolation bonus on Taste Their Fear hits like a truck whenever you're caught alone — Diana has no answer to that at level 1. Isolation-bonus Taste Their Fear chunks anyone who face-checks alone on their half of the map too, so skip the level-1 crossing and answer the pressure cross-map. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Respect Kha'Zix | Void Spike's heal-poke wins the slow trade war at river entrances, and Diana has no clean answer to it on the second camp — the isolation bonus on Taste Their Fear hits like a truck whenever you're caught alone. Stay near camps or minions to deny the isolation bonus — it halves his damage, and give up the second buff rather than the kill. |
| Level 3 Route | Respect Kha'Zix | The window at the opening scuttle belongs to Kha'Zix: iso Q damage at level 3 already deletes squishier junglers caught solo. Your own line is real — the Q-dash-W full combo comes online — your first genuine kill window — but it arrives second here. Stay near camps or minions to deny the isolation bonus — it halves his damage, then give up the level-3 river fight. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Even — Farm & Track | Neither of you owns 4-5. Since he hunts the isolated side of the map at 4-5, where the Q bonus turns a trade into a kill, decide this window on vision and objective timers rather than on a duel. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Moonfall Favoured | Moonfall's vacuum pull plus the dash-reset combo one-rotations squishier junglers. Evolved isolation damage deletes you the moment you are caught alone — respect that one window, but the six-spike comparison favors you: take the post-6 duel whenever HP bars start even. |
| First Item Spike | Nashor's / Hextech Rocketbelt Spike | Completing your core item triggers a massive damage and clear acceleration loop that completely automates your camp rotation velocities. Your basic attacks shred through epic monsters in seconds, allowing you to easily execute stealth neutral pit captures. Use this priority window to force aggressive side-lane dives or counter-jungle lines cleanly. Kha'Zix's first item plus the first evolution is the spike — an isolated squishy stops surviving the opener. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Diana Favoured at Full Build | Two items on, the edge is yours. The one thing to plan around is that he deletes an isolated target instantly and evolves out of most of your counter-play — take that away and the fight is a formality. |
Start your clear at the Red Buff camp to maximize early health retention via W shields before clearing toward your blue side for a full 6-camp clear. Kha'Zix clears well with Void Spike healing him through it, and he reaches three without spending much health.
