How to win lane as Smolder against Corki · 54.31% win rate (1,416 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
His tools tax the homework — farm what's free, glide what isn't, and present the thresholds his kit can't unmake.
Track: Corki's R — Missile Barrage. His banked Big One missiles flip river fights — track his R barrage windows like an objective.

This is Smolder's own plan; across 1,416 pooled games the lane is leaning Smolder.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Corki | Corki's Phosphorus Bomb and autos out-trade your unstacked kit at level 1. |
| Level 2 | Corki | At 2 his mixed-damage poke keeps him ahead in trades. |
| Level 3 | Corki | Level 3 Gatling Gun shreds you in every extended trade. |
| Levels 4-5 | Corki | Through 4-5 his poke and trade pressure keep you behind. |
| Level 6 | Corki | At 6 Missile Barrage out-pressures your weak low-stack ult. |
| First item | Smolder | Your first-item Q upgrade outscales his flat damage and flips trades. |
| Two+ items | Smolder | Fully stacked, your Q and R execute dwarf his damage ceiling. |
Corki wins the opening: his Phosphorus Bomb burst and mixed-damage autos out-trade your zero-stack Q, so you respect his level 1-2 poke, hug minions, and only step out to secure last-hits or land a safe W when his Bomb is on cooldown. His poke beats yours before your stacks arrive, so hug the minion line and take the last-hits you can reach without stepping forward. Achooo! is for the cannon contest. Hold the dash for his Valkyrie step-in, and back on the crash rather than trying to hold a wave you cannot win.
